
Pat cowley
Pat is a professional artist living and working in Derry. He studied at Belfast College of Art and The University of Ulster. He taught Art for a number of years before leaving to pursue full-time painting. He has had many one-man exhibitions and has taken art in numerous Group Shows. Pat has illustrated the following published books; "City Of Derry" , "Donegal Highlands" , Ditchdiggers and Fairythorns" and "Following The Foyle". The most recent book is Clean Burn which is now available. Clean Burn is a collaboration of poems by Michael Healy and paintings by Pat Cowley and is available to buy at the Cowley Gallery. He has exhibited in Ireland, Canada, USA amongst others. His collections include Derry City Council, Donegal Co.Museum, Government Buildings- Stormont, and Aras An Uactarain-Dublin.
